Bette’s drag journey began in 2021 on Fire Island, where a karaoke rendition of “Spell on You” sparked the birth of her drag persona. The name Bette Tittler, a playful nod to the legendary Bette Midler, quickly took hold, and just a few months later, Bette made her solo debut on her birthday (naturally). What started as a one-off performance blossomed into a full-fledged weekly residency, a testament to her innate talent and magnetic stage presence.
Now, just a few years later, Bette is a staple in the New Orleans cabaret scene. She produces and stars in Bette Tittler’s Broadville Follies at The Allways Lounge, hosted the weekly Queers of Comedy at Oz, and continues to produce and perform in Queersmas Eve—now entering its fourth year.
